I find it so fascinating when Indian home remedies become main-stream. A perfect example is turmeric milk, or haldi ka doodh as I knew it while growing up. I used to cringe at the sound of it. Whenever I had a cold my mom would make me drink turmeric milk and I would plug my nose and chug it like medicine. Now here I am drinking it BY CHOICE on a relaxing Monday night.
